Be part of our next gathering ---

A wonderful evening of reconnection and renewed purpose during the Zoom meeting of the UPAAA College of Public Health Global (CPHG) Chapter, bringing together founding chapter members, fellow CPH alumni from the USA and the Philippines, members of the UPAAA Board, CPH Dean Fernando Garcia Jr. PhD, and CPH Alumni Relations Chair Ma. Margarita Lota, MD. Dean Jun shared an inspiring message on the importance of reviving the Chapter, while Dr. Maita provided updates from the College, including ongoing UPAAA scholarship initiatives. The gathering also looked ahead with excitement to participating in the College’s Centennial celebrations in February 2027.

CALLING alumni of UP Rural High School (UPRHS):  Join your fellow alumni in preparing for the UPRHS Centennial

in 2029!

Members of the UPAAA Board met virtually with UPRHS alumni in the US and the Philippines on May 13, 2026 to discuss the possibility of establishing a permanent endowment fund in celebration of the Centennial.  We also discussed possible pathways for organizing and mobilizing

U.S.-based alumni participation, in tandem with the UPRHS Alumni Association in the Philippines.

The fund will serve as a lasting tribute to the school’s legacy of excellence, service, and leadership.  Founded in 1929 through Act 3377, UPRHS is the laboratory high school of University of the Philippines Los BaƱos and is recognized for its contributions to secondary education and research.
